With years of hands-on experience in digital banking and a strong track record in regulatory projects, Asen is collaborating closely with the European Central Bank to seamlessly integrate the Digital Euro into Austria’s payment landscape. His mission goes beyond national borders—the Digital Euro is envisioned to close the gap in Europe’s fragmented payment ecosystem and establish a unified system for approximately 350 million citizens, making everyday transactions easier, faster, and more secure across the continent.
